Hello everyone! This is your president, ~EmpressxNeko speaking! Let's get down to business, shall we?
First of all, let's welcome five new members to our club: ~Draco-Ookami, *aaaaaho, ~harumisaki15, ~nicole92614, and ~Shiyami! Let's give 'em a big ol' SOS-Brigade welcome!

Second of all, I severely apologize for the lack of inactivity these past months. I joined my school's marching band in the summer, and our season just ended about a few weeks ago. Since then, with that and school, I haven't prioritized time for the club, and for that I am truly sorry. My plan is to give our VP, ~Darkpelt full access to our account and possibly assign a few members to the task of moderator. If I cannot access the club, I shall let ~Darkpelt or possibly the mods do so.

Once again, I truly apologize! This club is already more than a year old, so we should celebrate! '08 will bring new contests and events! Stay tuned!

Konnichiwa!!! This club is a fanclub made for fans of the series 'The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya,' (or otherwise known as Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu.) I haven't seen any clubs for it, which made me really sad. AND SAD IS NO GOOD. ^^

THE FOLLOWING SYNOPSIS CONTAINS SEMI-SPOILERS.
The series follows a first-year high school student named Kyon, who notes that life is plain and ordinary. However, his opinion changes when he meets Haruhi Suzumiya, a girl who seeks for aliens, time travelers, and espers. Haruhi is described as eccentric and beautiful by her classmates, but never opens up to anyone, as regular humans are a 'waste of her time.' She opens up to Kyon, being the first human she actually holds a conversation with. Haruhi, who finds the other school clubs "boring", forms a club called the SOS Brigade (Save the world by overloading it with fun Haruhi Suzumiya Brigade). Those who end up joining are Yuki Nagato (the only member left from the literary club, and an alien), Mikuru Asahina (a second year who was 'voluntarily kidnapped' and a time-traveler), and Itsuki Koizumi (a happy guy who likes giving speeches complete with hand-gestures, and an esper). Together, they all get into crazy escapades and mishaps.

If you wish to join, just send a note either to this account, or ~EmpressxNeko, explaining why you'd like to join, and we'd be happy to add you! Also, spots in the member heirarchy come in a first-come, first serve basis, so in your request to join, just ask who you'd like to be. If it's not already taken, it's yours. :3

RULES
1) If you wanna submit art/writing/whatever to the club's gallery, send me a note with the picture's URL (upload it to an image hosting site like Photobucket).
2) Keep things PG-13, but (even though I'm a KyonxHaruhi shipper), I don't care what couples you draw art for. ;3
3) If you join, please watch this account so that way you can watch for updates and the whatnot. *NEW* Adding a link to the club in either your signature or journal would be perferred, but not necessary.
